Accepting immediate referrals. Dr. Brian Potts, PsyD, BCIA earned both a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and a masters degree in marriage and family therapy. Dr. Potts specializes in therapeutic methods for trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship counseling, and substance abuse. In addition to helping treat the community, he also serves as an operational psychologist in the Army National Guard. He is trained in both biofeedback and alpha stimulation as adjunctive treatment modalities with cognitive-behavioral therapy.
I currently provide psychotherapy using a cognitive behavioral model focusing on the interaction between our thoughts, behaviors and emotions. I use this model in a person-centered and empathetic approach to build supportive professional relationships with those whom I'm fortunate enough to work with.
