About
Currently accepting clients for virtual sessions.
Life has no instruction manuals, and yet, there's this unspoken assumption that we should just know what to do. We develop strategies that keep us safe, and sometimes we slip into patterns that no longer serve us. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and insomnia, and I’m passionate about creating a warm, non-judgmental space to safely explore your emotions, thoughts, and values in a fresh way. Together, we’ll work to understand your experiences, develop new coping strategies, and help you move toward the life you want with greater confidence and clarity.
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you build healthier ways of relating to thoughts and feelings, rather than battling them. I teach skills that foster psychological flexibility, helping you face challenges with resilience and move toward a meaningful life. I’m also trained in CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I) and offer treatment for sleep issues.
I specialize in working with deaf and hard-of-hearing adults, and I'm equally adept at working with those who hear. In our sessions, I can effectively communicate using both spoken English and/or American Sign Language (ASL). If my approach resonates with you or you're curious to learn more, click the 'email me' button to get started.
