About
I believe you are on the journey to become who you already are and who you are is infinitely complex. Often times external influences, circumstances, events, or relationships block you from living in the fullness of your complexity, and this can lead to psychological distress. I work with clients and couples to surface these conscious and unconscious barriers to growth so that you can lead a life responsive to who you are rather than reactive to what is going on around you. My hope is that, together, you discover not just relief from symptoms but optimal psychological functioning and deeply satisfying relationships.
To guide us on your therapeutic journey, I often integrate neuroscience with Humanistic-Existential therapy and Internal Family Systems to strengthen the relationship with yourself and Interpersonal therapeutic models based in attachment theory and developmental processes to strengthen the relationship with those closest to you.
Life is difficult. Full stop. It is likely very painful things have happened to you, and, there's an even greater liklihood a large part of those things were out of your control. But, whether they were or not, life will not stop serving you up hardship. I work with clients to increase their personal density to withstand and flourish in a difficult world.
