About
My job is about hope. Many of my former clients tell me that they were surprised and relieved to feel so much better after therapy. They were unsure if they would ever find relief from the challenges they had. That is why I do what I do. It is a joy to share in that journey of healing. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and trauma. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help my clients process and move forward from their traumatic experiences. I love using play and expressive arts to engage children and adolescents. I also have a special place in my heart for those who struggle with eating disorders and self harm.
I view therapy as a sacred space. Many of my clients have described feeling ashamed and "stuck" in a feeling or behavior when they came to me. I have found the most important thing is to tailor my approach to each person's specific needs. Therapy is not one size fits all. There are many paths to healing and we will discover your path together.
If you are ready to make a change in your life, please give me a call today. In our first conversation we will dive deep enough that I can let you know whether I would be a good fit for you, and if not, I can often refer you to someone who will be. It is equally important that you feel comfortable and confident with me. I look forward to speaking with you!
