About
Contacting a counselor may be intimidating, taking a bold step towards your own healing and growth. I wholeheartedly believe that therapy helps people get to where they want to be mentally, interpersonally, and emotionally - and I have had the privilege of supporting clients in achieving their personal goals for over 13 years. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, and Clinical Supervisor providing psychotherapy and counseling services to adults, families, and couples.
My practice specializes in addressing issues related to anxiety, grief, depression, relationships, and career concerns that keep people from functioning optimally. My approach utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and positive psychology in treating symptoms of anxiety and depression, while tailoring therapy to each individual's needs and goals.
I am an Emory University alum, and completed my graduate training at Mercer University with a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. I lead clinical supervision and professional consultation groups for mental health providers, and have served as an adjunct professor for graduate-level counseling programs.
