Angelene Kendall-Henderson is from Hershey, Pennsylvania. She earned her bachelor’s in fine arts from Troy University and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling also from Troy University. Angelene is currently working towards her doctoral degree at Auburn University in Counselor Education and Supervision. Angelene has provided therapy in an array of settings from residential treatment to in-home therapy to children and adolescents. She has provided various services such as individual, group, and family counseling services. She is excited to serve both women and men in the counseling environment.
She has experience working with clients of various cultural, spiritual, religious, and sexual backgrounds. Angelene also is certified in Infant Mental Health, where she has worked with expecting mothers and children 0-5.She is a member of Alabama Counseling Association (ALCA) and currently an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) in the state of Alabama and is
under supervision to obtain LPC licensure. As a therapist, Angelene goal is to go on the journey of discovery with clients in a safe and non-judgmental space. She encourages clients to drive their own car, and therapy as the place to cultivate direction.
