About
Angelia Frazier-Henson is a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) who has been practicing since 2012. She has experience working mostly with children, adolescents, families, and sometimes adults in various settings (school, clinic, and residential treatment) who seek help for behavioral issues, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem issues, coping and social skills, grief/loss, and trauma-related issues. Angelia earned her Bachelor of Social Work at the University of Arkansas at Monticello and her Master of Social Work at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Angelia provides services from strength-based, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) perspectives. Angelia also uses geek, play, and music therapy techniques to help reinforce the skills being taught when appropriate.
Angelia takes a nonjudgmental and accepting approach to therapy in order to work with a diverse population and to meet clients where they are. She seeks to help you find your way back, back to the path you want to be on. Resiliency is the ability to become strong, healthy, or successful again after something has happened to get you off-path.
