About
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I collaborate with clients so they can engage in self-exploration and practice skills grounded in their personal values. As a queer nonbinary, fat therapist, I believe in addressing intersecting identities and building a compassionate relationship that centers the client's distinct needs. I specialize in relationship and sex therapy and especially enjoy working with individuals, couples, and polycules navigating changes in identity and sexual health. I have experience working with the impact of medical trauma and chronic illness on sexuality and with exploration of sexual and gender identity.
Because the world around us impacts our mental and emotional well-being, I operate from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and culturally humble mindset. My goal is to offer tools that help clients unlearn painful messages of not being good enough. My hope is that you will leave therapy feeling more connected to yourself and others.
I use somatic and experiential approaches rooted in evidence-based practice. My passion is helping people who have been hiding parts of themselves learn to cultivate self-compassion, loving relationships, and meaningful experiences. Together, we will create the space needed for you to grow where you’ve been expected to shrink. You are welcome here.
